Customer Specific Endurance Testing
ADEPT’s second production specification engine has now completed almost 40hrs of customer specific endurance testing in the Airmotive Technology in-house dynamometer test cell. During the test programme, we have conducted tests that are specific to our OEM customer requirements, as well as low octane, and poor fuel testing. Fuel consumption figures have been closely monitored during the testing, and have returned even better results than our projected fuel consumption.
As expected, the tests have been completely problem free, further proving the reliability of the ADEPT 320T’s robust design.
The next stage of endurance testing for this specific engine will be in the Vliegmasjien C-Wolf aircraft. Installation of the engine will commence in Q3 2016.
