ADEPT Simplifies Engine Installation for Aircraft Builders
ADEPT Propulsion Technologies is streamlining the installation of its lightweight, compact engines across various aircraft types.
To optimize engine positioning, baseline data has been compiled for accurate centre-of-gravity (CG) calculations. A versatile engine mounting frame design has been refined using FEA simulation, ensuring adaptability to a wide range of firewall configurations.
Collaborating with expert aircraft fabricator Josh Richling, ADEPT has developed precise jigs and efficient manufacturing processes. Additionally, VR3’s CNC machining of 4130 chromoly tubes has contributed to the production of highly accurate, durable engine mounts with exceptional weld quality.
Over the past year, ADEPT has expanded its capabilities to support engine installations in the U.S., offering expertise in electrical and avionics integration, engine mounting, cowling, and ducting. ADEPT’s team is ready to assist aircraft builders in achieving seamless firewall-forward installations.
