The Company

ADEPT’s product development facility is based at Virginia Airport, Durban North, South Africa where it has its design and administration offices and development testing facility. Our U.S. company, ADEPT Propulsion Technologies, Inc. is based in Idaho and run by Lee Brinley and was established with the specific purpose of consolidating the intellectual property and market expansion of our products under a U.S. legal entity.

ADEPT Propulsion Technologies is currently pursuing investor funding to support several initiatives to expand our range of engines, manufacturing capacity, and certification.

ADEPT has recently completed a project to facilitate the manufacturing and commercialization of the ADEPT Airmotive engine range. All the critical in-house manufacturing and assembly processes have been established within our manufacturing facility and in conjunction with our strategic partners. Significant investment into state-of-the-art casting, CNC machining, and metrology equipment has been completed with the investment support of the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa.

The supply chain was bolstered by accessing the vast resources within our network of suppliers who are part of the Commercial Aviation Manufacturing Association of South Africa (CAMASA). With the recent consolidation of the U.S. company, the supplier network is being expanded to include U.S. vendors.

During the transition from a development-focused entity to a production and market-supporting business, our highly competent technical team has been bolstered by the addition of dynamic team members and strategic partners with particular strengths in global market support, and high-quality manufacturing.

ADEPT engines are poised to be the powerplant of choice in the General Aviation industry.

We don’t hug trees, but we believe there should still be trees to hug for the generations to come. One of the privileges of flying is that we get to see the planet from a different perspective and ADEPT has a unique perspective on the impact that aviation should have on our environment – as little as possible.

Our investment in clean manufacturing technology, in building engines that run on readily available lead-free fuels, including ethanol blends, and meet current ASTM and FAA supply chain rules for Sustainable Aviation Fuels [SAF] engines that are quiet, have the lowest exhaust emissions, and Carbon footprint in both manufacture and operation, is our investment in the future of aviation. We also believe that flying should be affordable and accessible to those who want to take to the skies. We believe, in every sense, that flying should not cost us the earth.
